About the Folly
The sole purpose of this blog is to document the progress of the building of our addition, originally dubbed “Gerald’s Folly,” but I think my wife should share the credit too. Thus, this is “Figals’ Folly.” Unfortunately, the addition was begun with site preparation way back in February; I’ve only gotten around to organizing this site and the photos I’ve been taking today (1 June 2009). So, this documentation of progress will be done largely in retrospect and serve as a showcase for the work that architect John TeSelle, contractors Bill and Skip Lawrence (Lawrence Bros, LLC), and all of the subcontractors have done.
